No-Kill International™ Inc Announces Its Initial Life-Saving Programs and Initiatives

No-Kill International™ Inc is pleased to announce the initial programs and initiatives that form the foundation of the organization's mission to save dogs and cats from euthanasia because of a lack of shelter space. These programs are designed to address the shelter-capacity crisis through emergency shelter development, increased adoptions, strategic partnerships, standardized shelter construction, and certification standards intended to improve transparency, animal care, and public confidence. The following summarizes the organization's primary initiatives:

Emergency Shelter Project - To rapidly build emergency shelters

The No-Kill International™ Inc Emergency Shelter Project is designed to facilitate the rapid construction and deployment of permanent emergency-response shelters to provide immediate housing for shelter dogs and cats facing euthanasia because of a lack of shelter space.

These shelters are intended not only to save lives, but also to provide spacious, well-designed, and well-maintained environments where animals can receive the care they deserve while awaiting adoption.

We have developed the plans and programs necessary to accomplish this mission, but public awareness is essential. We respectfully seek the assistance of the news media in helping inform the public about our mission and goals so that the funding and support needed to undertake this life-saving initiative can be secured.

Operation Forever Home™ - Every dog and cat to have a forever home

Saving animals from euthanasia by building no-kill shelters is only the beginning. Every successful shelter must also have a dependable path for them to acquire their forever homes. Operation Forever Home™ is designed to include: A Nationwide Adoption Network, Community Adoption Partnerships, National Corporate Partnerships, Public Awareness, Encouraging Shelter-First Adoption and A National Lifesaving System. It is intended to become a coordinated nationwide adoption, foster, marketing, and public-awareness effort designed to help animals attain loving homes more quickly than has traditionally been possible.

Life Defenders Alliance™ - Partnering organizations to aid No-Kill International™ Inc in life saving infrastructure

Through Life Defenders Alliance™, the organization intends to actively pursue strategic partnerships, sponsorships, in-kind donations, discounted services, donated materials, and cooperative relationships whenever practical and appropriate.

Rather than relying exclusively upon financial contributions to purchase resources, No-Kill International™ Inc seeks to partner with organizations capable of providing products, services, expertise, infrastructure, materials, transportation, technology, veterinary support, pet nutrition, construction resources, and other mission-critical necessities.

Life Defenders Alliance™ Round-Up+™ Program - Customer-Giving Opportunities Designed to Help Save Shelter Dogs and Cats

Round-Up+™ is being developed as a customer-giving program for businesses, retailers, restaurants, service providers, franchises, online merchants, and other organizations to allow their customers to voluntarily support No-Kill International™ Inc through round-up donations, fixed-dollar donations, custom donation amounts, checkout giving, special campaigns, emergency-response campaigns, and related customer-supported fundraising opportunities.

Standardized Shelter Platform Initiative - More room for less money

No-Kill International™ Inc believes significant opportunities exist to drastically reduce construction costs, dramatically accelerate deployment timelines, incorporate scalability, and greatly expand life-saving capacity through standardized, repeatable, modular shelter-development. No-Kill International™ Inc will create systems capable of housing substantial numbers of animals designed and assembled to not require the extraordinary costs and lengthy construction timelines often associated with traditional one-off construction projects.

By utilizing standardized designs, modular construction methods, repeatable engineering, and expansion-ready infrastructure, No-Kill International™ Inc believes future shelters can be developed more efficiently while maintaining high standards of animal care, safety, sanitation, and operational effectiveness.

Rather than designing each shelter as a completely unique project, No-Kill International™ Inc intends to explore the development of a standardized shelter platform that can be replicated, expanded, improved upon, and deployed repeatedly in communities where additional shelter capacity is needed and to replace existing kill shelters with No-Kill International™ Inc no-kill shelters.

No-Kill International™ Inc Certified - No-kill shelter unified standards for adoptions and increasing adoptions, life-saving, animal care, safety, and shelter capacity

Certification standards are currently being developed and can be viewed on our website. No-Kill International™ Inc is establishing certification standards for independent shelters that wish to become No-Kill International™ Inc Certified.

To help promote transparency for approved shelters, if needed, we will provide the required live video streaming capabilities and retention of videos and a shelter website at no charge. The first of many requirements for a shelter to be certified is no euthanasia of healthy or treatable dogs or cats because of a lack of shelter space.

The programs and initiatives described above have been developed to help end the euthanasia of shelter dogs and cats because of a lack of shelter space.
