No-Kill International™ Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in its early stages of development and is focused on building the foundation needed to save shelter animals' lives, to as quickly as being funded, accomplish all our goals. We are currently in the process of securing founding partners for our Life Defenders Alliance™, bringing cost-saving efficiencies at the outset by building a coalition of respected organizations donating their expertise and services to help save animal lives (see our Life Defenders Alliance™ demo page where we have put together some corporations that we hope to get onboard to function as a well oiled machine to help us save millions of dog's and cat's lives).Through this initiative, we seek to dramatically reduce overhead by leveraging the expertise of leading organizations within their respective fields, allowing them to provide specialized organizational and infrastructure support to save dogs and cats lives, at no cost to donors, while helping create measurable public benefit, meaningful community impact, and positive brand association for participating partners. We are also beginning our No-Kill International™ Inc Emergency Shelter Project to build our first of many no-kill shelters, and done at great speed, to house shelter dogs and cats that are on euthanasia lists. We need that done yesterday. And no one is doing this so we will. But we need millions and millions of dollars to do this. We can begin our first one with assistance donated from builders and corporate partners but we also can't wait on them, waiting on the prefect storm, so we have to make our own. Money is life for these animals. And lack of it is their continued death. So we need donations, now. And if you wish to wire funds, join so we can email you wiring instructions.

To give a reference, that would accommodate 1,777 8ft x 8ft kennels. We will have 650 (or more) 8ft x 8ft kennels total for dogs and cats. That will leave us 33,747 sf for all other needed rooms and areas with room left for more kennel space. So we need 8 acres of land, preferably donated

Mission

No-Kill International™ Inc is dedicated to preventing the euthanasia of shelter dogs and cats due to a lack of space. Our mission is to create and fund life-saving capacity through shelter expansion, rescue support, and other immediate interventions that help save animals currently at risk, while also pursuing long-term systemic solutions designed to eliminate overcrowding as a cause of euthanasia.

Beyond addressing immediate needs, No-Kill International™ Inc seeks to address the underlying conditions that allow such euthanasia practices to continue, through public awareness initiatives, strategic advocacy, political and policy reform efforts, and other long-term initiatives intended to reshape the animal-welfare landscape and make the euthanasia of adoptable shelter animals due to a lack of space understood by all to be unnecessary and unacceptable.

The Problem

Each year in the United States, hundreds of thousands of dogs and cats are euthanized in shelters due to lack of space. Approximately 597,000 dogs and cats were euthanized/murdered in U.S. in 2025. This is due to a systemic attitude of indifference, broken methods, refusal to admit inadequacies or a need for change. And, in the rare instances when the truth is admitted, there lies a lack of resources, infrastructure, and coordinated solutions.

The main, undeniable, incontrovertible reason is obvious: if it were not legal to murder these animals, it could not be done by cities or anyone else. They have legalized murder, and that is the undeniable cause.

Our Approach

No-Kill International™ Inc is focused on scalable, practical solutions to eliminate euthanasia caused by overcrowding:

Making these murders (euthanasia for a lack of space) illegal
Convincing City Councils to dismantel their kill shelters and build No-Kill International™ Inc Certified No-Kill shelters
Partnering with like-minded programs effectively saving companion animal's lives
Expanding shelter capacity through new builds, facility expansions and upgrades
Retrofitting appropriate like-minded shelters to become No-Kill International™ Inc Certified No-Kill shelters
Supporting rescue organizations, foster networks and adoption programs
Developing overflow and transitional housing systems
Encouraging effective spay and neuter programs
Mobilizing volunteers and donors

Our goal is to create a system where no animal is euthanized due to lack of space.

No-Kill International™ Inc Certified

Along with building our own shelters by our Standardized Shelter Platform Initiative, we are currently making a set of criteria for No-Kill shelters that wish to be No-Kill International™ Inc Certified. We will provide the video requirement capabilities at no charge. Some of these requirements are:

No euthanasia for a lack of space
Video tape all dogs and cats at all times and publish video to the Internet via a live feed that is also retained
Have their own website or we will provide one at no charge for said feed and other required publicly available information
All dogs and cats have their own website post or page about them to aid in adoptions
Regular meals, proper nutrition and vet care
Regular large area outdoor time for the dogs of at least three hours a day and room for the cats to play
Large kennels with a bed off the ground
Temperature controlled environments for kennels
Regular cleaning and sanitation
Spay or neuter all dogs and cats after having them for seven days
Dog and cats microchipped after seven days
Networking with No-Kill International™ Inc to aid in the adoption of their dogs and cats (as we will be networking with everyone)

There are more requirements but those are some of the basics. Also, shelters will receive a No-Kill International™ Inc seal (like this) for their website (which they may also use for advertising) and a seal like that, but a physical seal for display at their shelter, when approved.

No-Kill International™ Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on:

Donations from individuals and organizations
Grants and partnerships
In-kind contributions such as land, materials, and services

Use of Funds

All donations to No-Kill International™ Inc are used exclusively to support its charitable mission, including:

Paying for expenses related to what is listed under "Our Approach" above
Aiding animal rescue and adoption programs
Shelter design, development, construction and expansion
Animal care
Infrastructure and program development

No donations are used for personal benefit.
